Dear Ed and company:
I wanted to drop you a line to tell you how thoroughly
satisfied we are with the installation of the closed cell foam
insulation under our floors.
It has made such a difference. We noticed
immediately how little humidity we had in the house. Before
installation, we felt the floors damp even
with our air conditioner running 24/7 because of the open crawl
space under the house. Now it feels very dry when running the
air.
When walking on the floors we had lots of
creaking due to our 60 year old floors and the shrinkage of the
subfloor, but now it is so quiet and absolutely
no creaking! Amazing! We had a little rain this past week, and
my husband will tell you that means he will hear me say " do you
smell that musty smell?"
but we had no smells this week after the installation. It is
really something fantastic that the insulation has made a
difference in so many ways.
Also, I think we will no longer have our
dogs scratching the floor and barking when they hear little
critters below making their sounds. We never heard them, but now
we know we had a rat problem, and thanks to Doug Murray we have
put out some deterrent and hopefully that will be resolved as
well.

you did, and would be very happy to send a recommendation to
